The movie’s theme song, “Happy Feet” is performed by Pink, who also lends her vocals to the nature Gloria. The primary information on the soundtrack of Happy Feet Two has been launched, but, as of now, only one track has been found out, “Mama Said Knock You Out” through LL Cool J. The movie’s trailers feature the aforementioned song “Mama Said Knock You Out”, in conjunction with “SexyBack” via Justin Timberlake and “Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow” by means of The Rivingtons.

Happy Feet 2 (also known as Happy Feet 2 in 3D) is an upcoming computer-animated film directed by George Miller, the co-director of the original film, Happy Feet. The film is being produced by Animal Logic Films in Santa Monica, California, United States and Dr. D Studios in Sydney, Australia. The movie is scheduled to premiere in American theaters on November 18, 2011.

The only other official announcement regarding the film is that actors Elijah Wood and Robin Williams are to reprise their previous roles of the characters Mumble, Ramon, and Lovelace. Other actors confirmed to reprise their roles are Carlos Alazraqui, Johnny A. Sanchez, Lombardo Boyar and Jeffrey Garcia as Nestor, Lombardo, Raul, and Rinaldo respectively. It is currently unknown if the cast includes any of the other characters from the first film or who will voice them if they do. Actors Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman who together played Mumble’s parents, Memphis and Norma Jean, have yet to confirm any involvement with the film.

Brittany Murphy, the original voice actress of Mumble’s love interest Gloria, was set to reprise her role and begin recording sometime in 2010 but she died on December 20, 2009. Singer Pink appears to be the late Murphy’s replacement and will contribute a song for the film while Brad Pitt and Matt Damon will be the “tiny krill” voices in the film. Hank Azaria will also appear in the film as a new character. Elizabeth Daily, who played young Mumble in the previous film, will play as a new character called Erik and Sofía Vergara will also appear in the movie as a new character.

The sequel to Happy Feet, “Happy Feet 2” returns audiences to the landscape of Antarctica, reuniting us with the tap-dancing penguin, Mumble (Elijah Wood), the love of his life, Gloria (Pink) and their old friends Ramon and Lovelace (Robin Williams). Mumble and Gloria now have a son of their own, Erik (Elizabeth Daily), who is struggling to find his own particular talents in the Emperor Penguin world. But when a Giant Petrel named Boss Petrel and his multi-colored posse are threatening the penguin nation, it’s going to take everyone working–and dancing–together to save the penguins. A female Adelie named Carmen (Sofía Vergara) and two tiny Krill (Brad Pitt) and (Matt Damon), help Mumble, Gloria, and Erik along the way to Stop Boss Petrel and his multi-colored posse.
